Dream Collage - Yearning

Hello all,

This is a second dream collage that I did for my digital art class. The main theme in my work is the yearning to be a child once more. As children we often times take it for granted and dream of the day we are adults. Childhood is too short. The stress of everyday adulthood can take a heavy toll on us physically and mentally. In the image the girl is fascinated with the fish. Children are often fascinated with most things in life. Once we are adults, a lot of the imagination and fascination we once had as children, disappears. The image contains a lot of purple tones. I did this purposely because purple is my favorite color.

A huge amount of credit goes to JennyLe88. Without her tutorial I most likely wouldn't have gotten the inspiration and help I needed for this artwork.
